We began by removing and disposing of the old, existing insulation in the attic. We then began sealing all the accessible penetrations in the attic, including the top plates, with expanding polyurethane foam. We also sealed the attic floor with ZypFoam to make sure that there were no air leaks in the attic.  The customers also wanted a recessed light fixture cover installed. We installed a TiteShell Can Light Cover, and sealed that area with ZypFoam polyurethane foam around the edges and to cover any holes that were made for the electrical wires. The attic was now prepared for the installation of the fresh, clean insulation. Now that these tasks were completed, we then began to blow in TruSoft™ cellulose insulation, covering 1370 sq ft of the attic floor. This may help in reducing dust and/or allergens in the home.

This customer was having some foundation issues with their home. They had a structural engineer at the home for an inspection. During the engineer’s inspection of their foundation, it was noticed, what appeared to be mold, in their crawl space. The homeowners wanted the mold to be removed from their home.

An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

Personal protective equipment was worn by our Licensed Mold Remediation Technicians. Our Technicians had a fresh set for the morning, and a fresh set for the afternoon, for each day and each Technician. We started in the crawl space, below the master closet. We used a HEPA Vacuum on all the wood within the crawl space, under the master bedroom closet. We cleaned all the wood within the crawl space by hand cleaning it by using microfiber cloths, wire brushes and/or sandpaper and a Concrobium Broadband Disinfectant that is botanically derived. We sprayed all the wood within the crawl space with a Fiberlock Advanced Peroxide Cleaner. We finished by spraying a  Concrobium Broadband Disinfectant to neutralize the peroxide cleaner. Upstairs, inside the home, in the master closet, we installed and erected zippered poly doorways, walls and/or flaps and critical barriers as required to strategically separate the identified containment remediation area into a separate working containment area. We removed the shelving, baseboards, and drywall throughout the entire master closet. We used a HEPA vacuum on the exposed wall cavity, as well as the entire contained area. We wiped down all the exposed wall cavity surfaces with an EPA-approved anti-microbial disinfectant solution. The anti-microbial disinfectant solution that was used was designed to neutralize and inhibit the growth of microbial bacteria. The Anti-microbial disinfectant solution was not used in any manner inconsistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations for the application. The wipe down process was done using a top down motion, using a clean side of a microfiber rag each time. An 8-fold system was used for a more efficient process during the wipe down process. An air seal was installed on the floor to prevent humidity from coming up into the master closet. We hauled off, and properly dispose of, all debris. We installed air scrubbers inside of the master closet containment, they were there for five days. We turned on the air scrubber on at the beginning of the remediation process, and it was left running until the clearance results were received. Once the remediation work was complete the air scrubber needed to run approximately 48 hours before the post remediation clearance inspection was performed.

This customer noticed on their vents upstairs and in their bedroom, what she believed to be mold. They have 4 HVAC units for their home. The customer thought that she knew which of the 2 units were causing the apparent mold. She had their air conditioning company come out and change the filters and to check the systems. They also had attic blankets installed earlier this year. Due to the humid summer that we had in 2019, she believes that they may also be part of the problem.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their home. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the duct cleaning with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

We cleaned all ducts and the AC registers in their home with a registered anti-microbial solution and our Duct Cleaning kits. There were 4 AC units which were cleaned. Tall ladders were necessary for the vaulted ceiling areas in the home.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems with concerns regarding their crawl space. When they called, they had no insulation in the crawl space and were experiencing excessive moisture in the crawl space as well. They had lived in their home for 3 years. They have known since they moved in, that there was a moisture issue in the crawl space, but they were just getting to where they want it to be looked at and taken care of for them, because now, they had standing water under the house. This customer was referred to us.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems wanting to get an assessment and quote to fix their damp and humid crawlspace. They were inquiring about possible crawlspace waterproofing. The customer stated that after they bought the house recently, they found out that there was a swimming pool buried underneath their deck in the back yard. They had a foundation expert come out and do an inspection. They were informed by the foundation expert that their foundation seemed to be ok, but they were concerned about them having some erosion around the foundation and they needed to do something to correct that situation soon. They live in a gated community. In order for us to gain access to the property for an assessment and to provide them with a quote, we would have to follow the community requirements to be allowed into the community.

This customer is a return customer that is a contractor for these homeowners of this property. The customers that he was working with, wanted to have a crawl space encapsulation installed for their home. He called Olympic Restoration Systems to come and provide this customer of his with a crawl space encapsulation quote. Olympic Restoration Systems had done some work on a previous home that he had been working on, and he wanted us to return and provide the same great service for this customer, as we had his customers in the past.

When Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their crawl space, we scheduled an appointment for one of our Specialists with the homeowners right away. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer, for a crawl space encapsulation. They proceeded with Olympic Restoration Systems to install a crawl space encapsulation for their home.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems regarding the crawl space encapsulation that they had done by another company that is no longer providing this service but is honoring the extended warranty that the customer had purchased when they had this service provided. The customer could not hear the sump pump working so went to check to see if it was on and working. This is when she found that there was water under the liner. The customer found that the water was pooling under the liner in the crawl space. She said that there was so much water under the liner that it felt like a waterbed.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted by the company that was honoring their warranty with the customer. The customer called Olympic Restoration Systems shortly after, explaining what was happening in her crawl space. Olympic Restoration Systems sent a Specialist for an assessment of their crawl space. After the visit to the property and we proposed our quote to the company honoring the warranty on this customers crawl space encapsulation. They proceeded with a new sump pump installation for their customers crawl space.

We installed two new SmartSump pump systems with liners, two cast iron pumps, two CleanPump stands, two airtight lids with two airtight floor drains and a WaterWatch alarm system in the appropriate locations. We installed a SmartSump pump system with a liner, a cast iron pump, a CleanPump Stand, an airtight lid with an airtight floor drain and a WaterWatch alarm system. We installed an UltraSump battery back-up pumping system with charging/control box with an alarm and a 120-amp sealed maintenance-free battery. We removed all standing water in the crawlspace. We carefully removed the flooded dehumidifier. We cleaned up the water that leaks as it is carried outside. We had to determine whether the full crawl space was accessible by regrading the dirt piles on either side of the hole. This was not a full regrade and was only concentrated to the immediate area around the sump pit. We informed the customer that this was not be a permanent solution to the issues in their crawl space. We laid down plastic from the floor hatch to the door and the area was left cleaner than we found it.

This customer called informing us that they had contacted a Licensed Mold Inspector, that had located mold in two of their closets. One of which shares a wall with their pantry. The customer had already received the mold inspection report from the Licensed Mold Inspector indicating that remediation was required.

They contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for an assessment of their home, and for a quote that they were in search of for the remediation. An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

One inside and one outside for each containment. These Negative Air Machines needed to run for no less than 7 days. We installed a HEPA Filtered Air Filtration Device (AFD) inside the contained area. We turned the AFD on at the start of the remediation process. It was left running until the final clearance was received. PLEASE NOTE that the AFD needed to run for 24-48 hours after the remediation work was completed, before the post remediation testing could be performed. We installed plastic sheeting to separate the work areas from the rest of the house. We established 2 containments, one for the closets and one for the pantry. We removed all the affected drywall in the affected areas, from the floor to the ceiling. We removed the drywall on the ceiling in the kitchen pantry. We removed and disposed of the baseboards in the affected areas. We removed and disposed of all exposed insulation from the wall/ceiling cavities. We applied fungicidal coating to the exposed wood. We used a HEPA vacuum to the exposed wall and ceiling cavities. We then used a HEPA vacuum to the entire containment area. We removed the exposed carpet and pads in both closets. We hauled off and properly disposed of all debris.

This customer had an encapsulation installed in their crawl space by another company back in 2016. That company no longer provides this service to their customers, so they were referred to Olympic Restoration Systems for service. They have a dehumidifier in their crawl space. Their main concern was that the pipe that does the output of the water, is directly discharging onto the house. They wanted this PVC pipe redirected to either the alley, or over to a garden area. They wanted it to get it away from the house.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their crawl space. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a sump pump relocation for their crawl space.

We moved the SmartSump pump system with the liner, the cast iron pump, the CleanPump Stand, with an airtight lid with an airtight floor drain and a WaterWatch alarm system. We relocated the pump to the lowest corner of the crawl space, approximately 10ft. We did additional discharge work. We recongfigured the discharge lines on both sides of the home. We moved the right side of home so that it would run to the front right corner of their yard. We moved the left side of the home so that it would run to the left side of the home and direct water downhill away from the home. We serviced the existing dehumidifier, we changed the filter. We added the Water alarms to the pumps. Wired panels were installed near the crawl space hatch for easier access. We installed two wireless sensors in the crawl space which will send the temperature and the humidity readings to a small panel inside the house.

This customer called with concerns about the moisture and humidity in their crawl space. They suspected that they may have mold in the crawl space as well, due to the amount of moisture that they had noticed. They were experiencing high humidity in their home and thought that it may be coming from the crawl space. They were looking for a quote for an encapsulation in their crawl space to alleviate this issue in their home.

We established a containment from the front door to the crawlspace hatch, isolating the work area from the rest of the home. The containment area had two zipper entries making the hallway accessible for the homeowners. We removed all debris from the crawl space. This customer had an encapsulation installed in their crawl space by a company that no longer provides that service. They contacted Olympic Restoration Systems when they noticed that they had "a ton of water on top of the liner." They noticed that there was a tear in the liner, but they didn't think because of the size of the tear, all of that water accumulated, due to the tear. They believed that it was something else that was causing all of that water to be in their crawl space. They asked specifically to have the sump pump checked to see if it is working right. She asked to also have the tear fixed in the liner.

This customer had a crawl space encapsulation installed by another company many years ago. That company no longer installs or services crawl space encapsulations. This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems for a service call. Her words were, there is a ton of water on top of their liner. She said that she also saw that there was a tear in the liner. She did not think that because of the size of the tear in the liner, that all of that water could have accumulated. This customer specifically asked to have the sump pump checked to see if it is working right. She also wanted to fix the tear in the liner and find out what is causing the water on top of the liner.

When they called, the discharge pipe for the water being removed from the crawl space had been directly discharging onto their house. The customer wanted the PVC pipe redirected to either the alley or over to a garden area. He wanted 5’ to 10’ added to the discharge line in the process. They also had a dehumidifier in the crawl space that they needed to have serviced while we were there.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their crawl space. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a sump pump relocation, as well as an additional sump pump, and an additional dehumidifier in their crawl space. They also proceeded with the redirection of their discharge pipe and servicing of the existing dehumidifier.

We moved the existing SmartSump pump system with the liner, the cast iron pump, the CleanPump Stand, with an airtight lid and an airtight floor drain that had a WaterWatch alarm system. We relocated the existing sump pump, approximately 10 feet, to the lowest corner of the crawl space. We installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity low. We installed an additional small pump to move the water from the dehumidifiers to the sump pumps or out of the crawl space. A separate dedicated circuit/outlet for the sump pump and for the dehumidifier were installed. We also did additional discharge work. We reconfigured the discharge lines on both sides of their home. On the right side of the home we ran the lines to the front right corner of the yard. On the left side of the home we ran the lines to the left side of the home so that it directed the water downhill, away from the home. We serviced the existing dehumidifier. We changed the filter. We added additional Water alarms to pumps and installed wired panels near the crawl space hatch for easier access. We also wiped down, over 500 sq ft, and cleaned any water stains that were present on their Clean Space Liner.

This customer called informing Olympic Restoration Systems that they had quite a bit of humidity in their crawl space. They did some research and were interested in getting some dehumidifiers for their crawl space.

At the time they called Olympic Restoration Systems, they were replacing their kitchen floor. While they had the kitchen floor pulled up they wanted to get the underneath of their home taken care of so that they could protect the new floors that they were installing. They wanted to make sure that their investment in the new floors would be protected once installed.

This customer was having some humidity issues in their crawl space. They were interested in finding out more about an encapsulation for their crawl space.

This customer had a sump pump in their crawl space that is vibrating and making so much noise that they could hear it and feel it inside the home. They wanted to know what could be done about the sump pump. They saw other jobs that we have done and are wanting to get a quote on the sump pump.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their crawl space. Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited their property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a sump pump installation for their home.

We regraded the existing drainage trench so that the water would flow all the way to the sump pump and not pool along the way. We installed a SmartSump pump system with a liner, a cast iron pump, a CleanPump Stand, an airtight lid with an airtight floor drain and a WaterWatch alarm system. We removed the existing 1-inch discharge and replaced with a 1.5-inch discharge line. The new discharge will be supported from the floor joists with strapping; however, it does not physically touch the floor joists.

This is a repeat customer for Olympic Restoration Systems. We did some other work for this customer back in 2015, and they liked the work that we did for them at that time, and contacted us again to do this job for them as well. They had a leak behind their refrigerator. 2 walls and the floor had mold. It was in the corner of 2 rooms.

They contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for an assessment of their home, and for a quote that they were in search of for the remediation. An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

There was a 3^rd party that did the mold inspection and provided us with a mold protocol. They performed the pre and post mold inspections.

All our Technicians wore heavy duty personal protective equipment. They used 2 suits per day. 1 for the morning, 1 for the afternoon.

We installed/erected zippered poly doorways, walls and/or flaps and critical barriers as required to strategically separate the kitchen from the rest of the home. We installed a no monitor Negative air fan/Air scrubber inside of the containment for five days. We turned the air scrubber on at the start of the remediation process, and left it running until the clearance results were received. Once the remediation work was completed, the air scrubber needed to run approximately 48 hours before the post remediation clearance inspection could be performed.

We removed the solid surface countertop and saved it for the customer. We removed the cabinetry - lower base units that were against the affected wall area. Olympic Restoration Systems saved the cabinet faces for the customer.

We tore out all the wet drywall, cleaning up as we went, and bagged it for disposal. We removed the lower four feet of the drywall behind the cabinets. We removed the wood flooring under the entire cabinet base units, along with the refrigerator and desk slots, four feet out from the wall. We used a HEPA vacuum to the exposed wall cavity, then HEPA vacuumed the entire contained area. We cleaned more than the walls and ceiling. We used an Anti-microbial disinfectant solution designed to neutralize and inhibit growth of microbial bacteria. We used the Anti-microbial disinfectant solution in the manner consistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations for application. We wiped everything down, using a top down motion, using a clean side of the rag each time.

We tore out the tackless strip from the carpet and bagged it for proper disposal, along with removing the carpet and carpet pad. We removed the low four feet of drywall on the wall adjacent to the kitchen. We removed the closet shelves. We used a HEPA Vacuum for detail cleaning to the exposed wall cavity, then continued to HEPA vacuum the entire contained area. We hauled all the debris away for the customer to be disposed of properly.

This customer was having persistent moisture issues in their crawl space. The crawl space was constantly wet. They were concerned that it was because it was not fully insulated. They wanted a solution to this ongoing issue.

They had a lot of dust in the house and wanted to see if getting the ducts cleaned would help reduce the dust. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with an HVAC duct cleaning with Olympic Restoration Systems.

We removed the air registers and cleaned them. Then we used a HEPA vacuum for the diffuser box and the surrounding areas. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips to break the debris free from the ducts. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a power negative air machine which draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter which assures nothing is released into the home. We used a HEPA vacuum for the coils and the blower. We then cleaned the supply and return plenums. We cleaned the plenum by HEPA vacuuming and treating it with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution. We finished by re-attaching all ducts and assuring they were properly sealed.

These customers just bought this house, so they did not know very much about their attic. They said that during the inspection process, an inspector informed them that there was a screen missing on the attic vent and let them also know that they needed to get some insulation in the attic for their new home. It was very dirty, old, and littered with rodent droppings.

This home was for sale back in February 2020. The realtor for the property called Olympic Restoration Systems to come out to the property for an assessment of the crawl space to provide options to get rid of the “wet, earthy smell” in this nearly 5000 sq ft home for a potential buyer that was considering purchasing the home. The realtor wanted the overall indoor air quality to be improved for the home. While the home was still on the market, the realtor was provided a quote for an encapsulation of the crawl space. The potential buyers were provided the information during the buying process. This family purchased this home. Once they purchased the home, they felt that they had a more immediate issue they were concerned with in the home. They had a need for installation of electrical components to make the existing sump pump and dehumidifiers work properly. They had their immediate concerns addressed. After a few months in the home a new problem arose. They noticed that they now had fungus on their wood elements in the crawl space. They called Olympic Restoration Systems back with a need to understand the reason for the fungus growth and wanted a quote to prevent it from returning to their crawl space.

This customer had a Mold Inspection company out for an inspection. Mold was detected and a mold protocol was being prepared for the customer when she called Olympic Restoration Systems for an appointment.

When they contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for an assessment of their home, and for a quote that they were in search of for the remediation. We scheduled an appointment with them with our 1^st available appointment. An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

We set up a Containment Barrier/Airlock/Decontamination Chamber. We contained the shower area by installing plastic sheeting (floor to ceiling) 2-3 feet away from each of the shower walls, creating a closed off area in the corner with the shower.   

We installed a HEPA filtered air filtration device (AFD) inside the contained area. This created a negative pressure by ducting the exhaust (output) from the AFD inside into a second AFD that was placed outside the containment area. Both AFD’s were turned on at the start of the remediation process. After the detailed cleaning was completed, the duct was disconnected while the penetration area was sealed in the plastic sheeting. We had both AFD’s running in “air scrubber” mode without creating the negative air pressure. Both AFD’s were left running until the clearance results were received.

We removed the wet drywall, cleaned up the area and bagged it for the proper disposal. We removed the lower 2 feet of drywall and the tile baseboard from the exterior shower wall next to the vanity. We removed the lower 2 feet from a 1-foot section on the right side of the entry to the shower. We used a HEPA vacuum to the exposed wall cavity and the entire contained area. The wood framing was scrubbed with a brush or sandpaper to assure that all the visible mold growth was removed. The entire containment area was wiped down.  We cleaned the exposed wall cavity with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution.

The HVAC system needed to be turned off while the cleaning around the affected vents was taking place. The system could be turned back on after the mold impacted vents were cleaned, however the affected vents that remained within the containment, were closed off and the air registers stayed closed off until the clearance results were received. In this area of the home, a Containment Barrier/Airlock/Decontamination Chamber was set up. We contained the area around the 4 affected vents by installing plastic sheeting (floor to ceiling) creating an enclosed area.

We removed the air registers and cleaned the vents and the surrounding drywall. We scraped the drywall to assure that all the mold growth was removed. After assuring that all the visible mold growth had been removed, we used a HEPA vacuum to the entire contained area and wiped down the entire contained area with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution. We placed and AFD outside each of the contained areas while the cleaning was taking place. After the cleaning procedure was completed, we moved the AFD inside the containment areas and left in place until the clearance results were received.

We cleaned the HVAC ducts, boots, and air registers, 14 supply vents and 3 return vents. We removed the air registers and cleaned them. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips which break the mold and debris free from the duct. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a powerful negative air machine. This machine draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter to assure that nothing is released into the home. With the negative air machine running small lines are pushed through the ducts. The lines have small rubber whips on the end and the 175-psi compressor, that sits outside of the house, forces air through the whips, which move around very quickly and breaks the dust, dirt, and spores free from the duct. We used a HEPA vacuum for the coils and the blower, then cleaned the supply and return plenums. We cleaned the plenum by using a HEPA vacuum and treating it with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution. We finished by re-attaching all the ducts and assuring that they were properly sealed.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems, due to a referral from a mold inspector. The mold inspection company detected mold in their home, and they needed to have it remediated.

When they contacted Olympic Restoration Systems for an assessment of their home, and for a quote that they were in search of for the remediation. We scheduled an appointment with them with our 1^st available appointment. An Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.

There was a 3^rd party that did the mold inspection and provided us with a mold protocol. They performed the pre and post mold inspections.

Our Technicians wore 2 sets, per person, per day, of personal protective equipment (PPE). One set was for the morning, one set was for the afternoon. We installed a containment barrier/airlock/decontamination chamber to strategically separate the kitchen and the den from the rest of the home. We installed one air scrubber inside of the containment and one outside the containment for 4 days. Once the remediation work was completed, the air scrubbers needed to run approximately 48 hours before the post remediation clearance inspection could be performed. The scrubbers were turned on at the start of the remediation process and were left running until the clearance results were received.

We removed the kitchen sink and faucet, a double sink, the garbage disposal, the granite counter-top, and a wood shelf. We removed and disposed of the entire lower base cabinet units. We saved what could be saved of the faces of the cabinets. We removed the baseboards along the back side of the kitchen cabinets. We removed all the wet drywall in the affected area. We removed the sub-floor under the kitchen cabinets. We used a HEPA vacuum on the exposed wall cavity and then the entire contained area. We wiped down all the exposed wall cavity surfaces, and where the water damaged drywall surfaces were, with an EPA approved anti-microbial disinfectant solution. We did the wipe down of all surfaces using a top down motion, using a clean side of the rag each time. We used an 8-fold system for a more efficient process during the wipe down process. We removed the wood flooring with a mold like substance within the den, next to the kitchen area, as well as the tile flooring in the kitchen area. We bagged all the hazardous materials that were removed, cleaned up, and hauled all the debris away.

This customer is a repeat customer for Olympic Restoration Systems. He is a contractor for the homeowner for this property. He called Olympic Restoration Systems on behalf of their customer because they needed a crawl space encapsulation to protect the investment that they were putting into their home after having the contractor do work in their home. One of the things that the contractor was doing for this homeowner was redoing all their floors. They had the sub-floor up, so access to the crawl space was very easy.

We installed a radon mitigation system, and re-tested their home for radon. The post test showed that the radon mitigation system lowered the radon level to a non-harmful level. 

This customer called stating there was water in her crawl space and wanted an estimate completed for crawl space remediation. We sent one of our System Design Specialists, Ross, to assess the property. During the inspection, Ross found water, mud, and other signs of moisture issues in the crawl space. He has several different size vent openings to the crawl space and was getting tired and frustrated in trying to find covers that would work on the openings that would do what he wanted them to do to ensure that the environment in the crawl space was optimal for their home. They wanted to permanently seal up their crawl space.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for a quote for cleaning of the duct work, we scheduled them with one of our Specialists, Ross, for an assessment and quote. Once the quote was received, they proceeded with an air duct cleaning with Olympic Restoration Systems.  We removed the air registers and cleaned them. We then used a HEPA vacuum at the diffuser box and the surrounding area. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips to break the debris free from the ducts. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a power negative air machine which draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter which assures nothing is released into the home. We used a HEPA vacuum for the coils and the blower. Then we used a HEPA vacuum for the diffuser box and the surrounding area. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips to break the debris free from the ducts. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a power negative air machine which draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter which assures nothing is released into the home. We used a HEPA vacuum for the coils and the blower. We cleaned the supply and return plenums. We cleaned the plenum by using a HEPA vacuum. We treated it with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution.
