Mold Remediation in Hurst, TX

The property manager of this home contacted Olympic Restoration Systems after a water heater leaked caused mold damage throughout the property. After receiving confirmation of mold growth and a mold remediation protocol from a licensed mold inspector, Olympic was able to complete the mold remediation on this property. These photos show containment set up by the Production Team to keep mold and other pollutants from circulating through the home during the remediation process and also show the areas where we removed molded drywall.

If you believe there is mold in your home, the first step is to contact a licensed mold inspector. If mold growth is confirmed by the inspector, then contact Olympic Restoration Systems for licensed mold remediation.

Bathroom Remodel Hurst, TX

A couple decided to purchase an older home to fix up. When they realized they had a mold issue in the upstairs bathroom, they called our team in to help remove it. Our team arrived and began to work quickly. Setting up a de-containment chamber, they used a negative air scrubber both inside and out of the containment area upstairs. After cleaning what items would be salvageable and removing all affected materials, they HEPA vacuumed the exposed wall and ceiling cavities before HEPA vacuuming the entire contained area. Using an EPA registered antimicrobial solution, they cleaned the exposed cavities. The surface was then sealed with an antimicrobial paint. The HVAC ducts, boots, and air registers were also cleaned. They HEPA vacuumed and had an antimicrobial solution applied to them. This couple can now continue remodeling with no more concerns about mold.

Mold Remediation due to Plumbing Leak

A couple was having issues with a plumbing leak in their kitchen island. They had it fixed, but there were still some concerns about mold. They had an inspection, confirmation there was indeed mold growth. They called our company in to help. First, we set up a containment area with negative air scrubbers. Then, we cleaned what materials were salvageable and disposed of the organic material. Using a HEPA vacuum and EPA registered anti-microbial, we removed the mold. A clearance inspection was done, confirming the spore levels back to normal.
