Disaster Recovery Services in the Frisco Area

Olympic Restoration Systems provides professional disaster restoration and cleaning services for residential, commercial, and municipal clients in TX. Disasters such as fires, floods, and wind storms can leave debris and damage that may compromise a bulding’s health. Though these events may be unpredictable, you can keep us in mind for dependable recovery after the fact. We offer the following disaster recovery services:

  • Emergency water cleanup
  • Fire damage restoration
  • Indoor humidity control
  • Water removal

Moisture that is left unchecked can cause structural damage and problems with mold. Poor indoor air quality has been conclusively linked to lower work productivity, absenteeism, lost tenants, compliance penalties, lawsuits, and worker's compensation claims. Don’t hesitate — call us for thorough, professional disaster recovery services in your neighborhod.

In addition to long-term humidity control, we offer thorough mold removal for commercial and residential properties in Frisco, TX. We remove any visible mold in addition to employing deeper removal methods that prevent regrowth. To keep moisture levels down and maintain a drier environment, we install the super effective Aspen Air Purifier that covers up to 1,500 sq. feet. Unlike other air purifiers, the Aspen does not emit ozone and only improves your indoor air quality. With easy-change-filters and the ability to remove over 99.97% of particles from the air, the Aspen is right for you.

Effective Radon Gas Mitigation

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and is in every U.S. state, including TX. Radon is odorless, invisible, and impossible to detect without specialized equipment. Radon is also not limited to basements — we can find elevated radon levels in rooms as high as the second story. Fortunately, Olympic Restoration Systems is Frisco’s qualified radon mitigation company, offering radon testing, radon mitigation, and other indoor air quality solutions.

If you’ve never had your home tested for radon, then you should schedule a test as soon as possible. Different factors can impact radon levels in the home, including the source of the radon, how many floors are in the home, whether you keep your windows open often, and the stack effect. We can explain all of these factors to you and install a radon mitigation system that is compatible with the current waterproofing system in your basement or crawl space.

Job Stories From Frisco, TX
Air Duct Cleaning in Heath, TX

This customer called Olympic Restorations Systems with a concern that they may have mold/mildew in the vents from the upstairs HVAC unit.  When Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for a quote for cleaning of the duct work, we scheduled them with one of our Specialists for an assessment and quote. Once received, they proceeded with an air duct cleaning with Olympic Restoration Systems.  We removed the air registers and cleaned them. Then we used a HEPA vacuum for the diffuser box and the surrounding area. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips to break the debris free from the ducts. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a power negative air machine which draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter which assures nothing is released into the home. We used a HEPA vacuum for the coils and the blower. We cleaned the supply and return plenums. We cleaned the plenum by using a HEPA vacuum. We treated it with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution. We finished by re-attaching all the ducts and assuring they were properly sealed.

Mold Remediation in Frisco, TX

These photos are from a mold remediation job completed in Frisco, TX by Olympic Restoration Systems. We were contacted after a homeowner had mold growth confirmed by a licensed mold inspector and needed a licensed mold remediation company. Our Production Team was able to safely and efficiently remove the mold-damaged drywall, insulation, and flooring from the unit. In the pictures, you can see where they set up containment and used HEPA vacuums to ensure that mold and other pollutants did not circulate throughout the home during the mold removal process.

*If you think there is mold in your home, the first step is to contact a licensed mold inspector. Per state law, the licensed mold inspector and licensed mold remediation company must be separate entities. This is a protection for the homeowner. If mold growth is confirmed by a mold inspector, you should be given a mold protocol. The next step is to send this protocol to Olympic Restoration Systems so that you can receive a licensed mold remediation estimate.

Crawl Space Remediation in Frisco, TX

This customer called and stated that she had about 3 inches of water in her crawl space after rain. She believed it was all ground water, and was fearful that mold would grow. She scheduled an appointment with one of our System Designs Specialist, Tyler, and he visited her property for an assessment. After inspection, Tyler gave a proposal to the homeowner for a crawl space encapsulation system, and she accepted.

These homeowners needs to update their crawl space lining after a season of heavy rains. Our team came in to inspect and discovered standing water, rust, and high humidity.

We installed a CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to replace their old, damaged liner. Next, we installed two SmartSump pump systems to remove water as it seeps into the space. We also installed a dehumidifier and a humidity sensor that sends readings to a small panel in the house.

When this homeowner looked under his crawl space and noticed it was flooding, he contacted us for help. After removing debris and regrading, our team installed a SmartSump to remove ground water. Using CleanSpace drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier, we encapsulated the crawl space, protecting the home from future flooding. A dehumidifier was installed to control the humidity.

Mold Remediation Project

A water leak caused mold growth in a homeowner's hallway and closet. An inspection was done and the team from Olympic Restoration Systems was called to help remediate.

A containment barrier was set up in the closet and hallway along with negative air scrubbers. The affected material was removed. Using a HEPA vacuum, all exposed areas were cleaned and then wiped down with an antimicrobial solution. Another test was done, ensuring that the mold was completely gone from this home, leaving the homeowners resting easy knowing that their home was safe.

How can we have a quote for mold remediation, then we have already the mold assssment
Project Location: Frisco, TX
My wife and I just purchased a 1959 pier and beam house that needs a lot of work, based on the inspection report (I can send y'all the inspection report). There are a lot of areas that need to be addressed. The crawl space is poorly vented, there is sagging in the floor, signed of water in the crawl space. There isn't any gutters, which obviously doesn't help the crawl space. The attic is also poorly ventilated, poorly insulated, and just needs work done. The ac unit was replaced in 2016 but it needs to be serviced. There are a lot of other areas that the inspection report covered, I'm not sure what other services you provide. We move in on June 1st and are trying to find someone who can take care of a lot of the bigger issues.
