Summer is on its way, and we want your home to be as comfortable as it can be this summer. Due to the sun radiating down on rooftops, attics can reach temperatures over 130 degrees in the summer. This means that there needs to be an absolute boundary between the living spaces and the attic.
We start this process by sealing off any air leaks. We want your conditioned air to stay in the living spaces, not leak into the attic. Then, we will encapsulate the air ducts so that air does not leak out of them, and encapsulation insulates the air ducts from the hot attic temperature. Finally, we will finish the attic by installing blown in TruSoft cellulose attic insulation. This will blanket the attic in every corner and crevice to keep it completely insulated from the living spaces. Cellulose attic insulation is more effective and safer than fiberglass batts insulation, just check out this video: https://www.olympicrestoration.com/attic-insulation/videos.html
Our goal is to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. To start prepping your home for the hot summer heat, call 1-888-756-5967, or click FREE ESTIMATE at the top of your screen.
