Challenge
While the homeowners were at work, one of the pipes in their bathroom sprung a leak. They called a plumber to fix at and cleaned up the water. After a few weeks, they removed the cabinets to replace them and discovered what looked like mold hiding behind the cabinets. An inspection was done, confirming the mold. They called our team to help.
Solution
A containment barrier was set up in the bathroom and hallway along with negative air scrubbers. All organic materials that were affected were removed. Using a HEPA vacuum, all exposed areas were cleaned and then wiped down with an antimicrobial solution. The remaining wood was sanded to remove any stains. Another test was done, ensuring the mold was completely gone from this home, leaving the homeowners to rest easy knowing their home was safe.
