Olympic Restoration Systems Case Studies: Crawl Space Remediation in Dallas
Challenge
These homeowners discovered excess humidity and water leaks in their crawl space and became concerned about how the moisture would affect the humidity in their home. They called our team to inspect the crawl space and develop a solution.
Solution
After inspecting the area and finding condensation and moisture related to the humidity level, we decided to set up a pump system as well as an encapsulation system. First we regraded the soil to send any water leaks and condensation to the SmartSump pump system. We set up a WaterWatch alarm and a back-up pumping system so the pump could remain maintenence free. Next, we installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to prevent humidity from rising up from the ground. Finally, we installed three SaniDry Sedonas throughout the space to lower the humidity in the crawl space as well as the home.
