Challenge
The steep incline with which this crawl space sits created sitting water issues when there were heavy rains and this raised the overall humidity of the space. The homeowner called us in to control the moisture and the humidity.
Solution
We installed a SmartSump pump system to pump any water out of the crawl space. Then, we installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to line the dirt and prevent humidity from rising up and causing humidity issues in the house. To ensure the humidity was always under control, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We also installed two wireless sensors to track the temperature and humidity andsend the readings to a small panel inside the house, so the homeowner can easily check the effectiveness of the systems.
