Challenge

This customer called because he found standing water in his crawl space. He wanted to rid his crawl space of water, and find a solution for preventing water from coming in again.

Solution

We sent a System Design Specialist, Ross, out to inspect the property. Ross presented the homeowner with a proposal to fix the crawl space, and the homeowner accepted.

Our crawl space production team started by regrading the soil and removing debris from the crawl space. They then placed a SmartSump sump pump to remove water from the crawl space. Then, they placed a drainage matting, followed by a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the floor, walls, and piers in the crawl space. Finally, they placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to pull any moisture out of the air.
