Olympic Restoration Systems has again chosen to sponsor The 2021 Honor Connor 5K and Smile Mile, this year as the presenting sponsor for the event. The Honor Connor 5K and Smile Mile is a celebration of the life and legacy of Connor Gage that, like Connor, is full of smiles and joy. The race benefits The LV Project, a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing education about drowning prevention and the use of life vests. Owners of Olympic Restoration Systems, Darrin and Suzie Saffell, express that their choice to sponsor the happiest race in America every year since its inception is a personal choice for them. Suzie stated that her passion for this event began "initially due to our relationship and love for the Gage family.  Beyond that, we are so in agreement with the mission of the LV Project." As avid lake goers and boating fans, Darrin and Suzie understand the importance of wearing life vests on lakes, no matter the age or skill of the swimmer. Darrin emphasizes "We know most drownings can be prevented by wearing a life vest." As the industry leader when it comes to restoring properties, Olympic Restoration Systems' mission is to help customers have healthier, more comfortable homes and lives. Suzie explains "The work we do in homes improves the health of the home and the people living in it. So, in a sense, our mission and the LV Project mission are similar in that they both aim to protect lives."
