Residential Mold Removal Case Studies: Mold Remediation in Grapevine Crawl Space
Challenge
These homeowners discovered mold growing along the beams of their new home's crawl space and called us in to evaluate and come up with a solution.
Solution
Our first step after inspecting the mold growth was to install a temporary air scrubber to remove mold spores that become unearthed during the cleaning process. We set one up in the home to keep the air quality healthy as spores may enter through the floor boards. An air scrubber was also placed in the crawl space to draw out the mold filled air preventing further mold growth. Next, we began to remove the mold with a wire brush to ensure more precise and complete mold removal. Finally, we applied an EPA registered anti-microbial solution to fully clean the molded beams and prevent further mold growth.
