Challenge
These homeowners became concerned when they saw their floors buckling and suspected their crawl space was to blame. When our team came in for an inspection, we found significant mold and mildew growth that was damaging and warping the support beams and sub-flooring. We were also concerned the mold was harming the air quality in the home.
Solution
Our first task was to scrub the mold from the affected area, applying Mold-X2 Cleaner to the damaged beams and sub-flooring to kill the mold and remove the remaining stains. To seal the area and prevent future mold growth and spreading, we then applied an antimicrobial paint to all the wood that would have been susceptible to mold.
