Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: How To Keep Mold From Growing In A Crawl Space
This homeowner called after having mold removed from his crawl space. He wanted to find a long-term solution to keep mold from coming back. One of our System Designs Specialists, Darrin, designed a solution that would turn the wet, moldy crawl space into a dry, conditioned area. This involved sealing off all outside air to the crawl space by closing any vents and sealing block walls and installing a drainage matting, vapor barrier, sump pump, and dehumidifier. The homeowner was pleased with the solution and pricing and proceeded to purchase a full crawl space encapsulation system from Olympic Restoration Systems.
