Challenge
These homeowners wanted to resolve the humidity problem in their crawl space that had caused a musty smell and buckling floors in their home. To prevent any future moisture problems, they decided to encapsulate the space.
Solution
First, our team installed a SmartSump pump system to send any standing moisture out of the crawl space. Next, we installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system that included a drainage matting and a sealed vapor barrier that prevents moisture from coming up from the ground to cause any more mold or condensation issues. We also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier which lowered the humidity from 79% to 23%.
