Challenge
This home had several small, separate crawl spaces that each created humidity and mildew that was beginning to affect the humidity in the home and the integrity of the subflooring. The homeowners called us to make a plan for lowering the humidity and eliminating excess moisture throughout the crawl spaces.
Solution
To address the moisture that was collecting from the high humidity, our team installed a SmartSump pump system to capture water and direct it outside of the the crawl spaces. Next, we installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system covering the surface area of each space to prevent vapors from rising from the ground and creating humidity in the crawl spaces. Finally, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer, which filters the air and sends temperature and humidity readings to a panel within the home.
