Crawl Space Repair Case Studies: Crawl Space Remediation in Dallas, TX

Challenge

This customer called because they suspected that they had mold in their bathroom, and wondered if it was coming from a moisture issue in the crawl space. We sent a System Design Specialist, Ross, to inspect the crawl space. In the crawl space, Ross found evidence of moisture issues, and proposed a solution to the customer to remediate the crawl space. The customer proceeded with crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems.

Solution

The production team started by regrading the soil in the crawl space. Next, they placed a SmartSump to drain water from the crawl space. Then, they placed a drainage matting beneath a CleanSpace vapor barrier. To remove any moisture from the air, they finished with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
