This homeowner called after he found mold and dry rot in his crawl space. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Darrin, to the property for a free crawl space encapsulation estimate. While inspecting the crawl space, the homeowner mentioned that he wanted his subfloor redone, because it had not been done correctly. Darrin found evidence of moisture issues in the crawl space, and presented the homeowner with a solution to keep the crawl space dry. He also gave the homeowner an estimate for removing the current subfloor and rebuilding a new one properly. The homeowner accepted and proceeded with a full crawl space remediation and subfloor construction from Olympic Restoration Systems.
This homeowner called after he recently purchased a home in Van Alstune, TX with a wet basement. He was not concerned with converting the basement to a living space, but he wanted to find a solution to keep the basement dry. When one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, performed a free basement inspection and waterproofing estimate, he found many cracks in the foundation and walls that would allow water to come in. He also found an old, insufficient sump pump that was not able to keep up with the amount of moisture coming into the basement. Ross proposed a solution to the homeowner that included installing a WaterGuard track along the perimeter of the basement, lining the walls with a CleanSpace vapor barrier, installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and replacing the old sump pump with a SmartSump sump pump. The homeowner was pleased with the estimate and proceeded with basement waterproofing from Olympic Restoration Systems.
Before we could get started encapsulating this crawl space, trenches and ditches had to be dug to allow access for our team and duct work.
This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems after they had a Mold Inspector provide them with a mold protocol for their home. The Mold Inspector detected mold and the customer did not want to wait to have the mold remediation that was needed. They already had another Restoration company come out for an assessment and quote. They were not happy with the customer service that was provided to them from that company. They then called Olympic Restoration Systems for a second assessment and quote.
We scheduled an appointment with them and an Olympic Restoration Systems Specialist visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the mold remediation with Olympic Restoration Systems for their home.
This customer called after recieving a mold protocol from Indoor Environmental. A mold protocol comes from a licensed mold inspector, which is sepatate from a licensed mold remediator, per state laws. Olympic Restoration Systems has employees who licensed to remediate mold. We sent one of our licensed mold remediators, Darrin, to the property for a free mold remediation estimate. The homeowner accepted the mold remediation proposal, and we sent our Production Team to begin the work.
The mold remediation included setting up containment to keep mold from circulating in the air during remediation, placing HEPA vacuums to scrub the air, removing damaged drywall and flooring, and wiping down surfaces with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution.
